The frame has an E27 European fitting (40mm connection hole) fitted at the bottom (see the photo), suitable for a table or floor updstanding lamp and comes with a removable B22 adaptor (28mm connection hole). 

For a ceiling or overhead hanging lamp, the frame needs to be fitted at the top so do get in touch before ordering to advise.
